Founder Spotlight: Madhumita of MarketorApp | Palo Alto Headshot Photographer

When it comes to making a lasting impression as a founder, CEO, or AI leader, your professional headshot becomes one of the most powerful tools in telling your story. Recently, I had the joy of photographing Madhumita, founder and CEO of MarketorApp, a patent-pending marketing-tech platform built to help small and legacy businesses grow through authentic, customer-driven social media posts.

About MarketorApp

MarketorApp empowers small and legacy businesses by transforming everyday happy customers into brand advocates—without relying on expensive ads or influencers. Madhumita has designed onboarding experiences, developed a reward system to encourage customer-driven posts, and built grassroots partnerships with local restaurants and service businesses. She is a true woman leader in tech, bringing innovation and heart into the way businesses connect with their communities.

The Headshot Experience

For Madhumita’s branding headshots in Palo Alto, we started with a call to understand her vision. She wanted portraits that showed both professionalism and approachability. I guided her with wardrobe and grooming suggestions, and together we created a session that blended studio portraits for a polished look with outdoor headshots for warmth and natural light.

What was supposed to be a one-hour session stretched to nearly two, because when someone is enjoying the process, I lose track of time. My focus is always to go above and beyond—ensuring every client not only loves their photos but also feels celebrated in the process. Madhumita told me more than once that this session felt like a birthday gift to herself, and she wants to make it a yearly tradition. That’s the joy of this work: a headshot isn’t just about updating LinkedIn—it’s about honoring and celebrating your most authentic self.

Why I Do This Work

Coming from a tech background, people often ask why I chose photography. The truth is, I discovered that I’m deeply a people person. What lights me up is not just creating beautiful images, but connecting with people and helping them see their own beauty.

Photography, for me, is not just about the camera—it’s about seeing people in their best light, both literally and figuratively. I do this work out of passion and choice, because every time I help someone feel confident and celebrated, I know I’m exactly where I’m meant to be.

More Than a Headshot

A professional headshot is more than a photo. It’s the impression you leave on people you may never meet. It’s your personal brand, your story, your presence in a digital-first world. Most professionals use their headshots for years, which makes it one of the best investments you can make in yourself.

For Madhumita, the images we created reflect not just her role as a founder and CEO, but her warmth, vision, and authenticity. And for me, the best part was walking away knowing I had built a connection that will last well beyond this session.

If you’re a founder, CEO, AI leader, or professional in Palo Alto, Mountain View, or San Jose, I’d love to create headshots that tell your story and elevate your brand.
